Selling a home in South Florida no longer requires going the traditional route with getting a sales agent or brokerage. As 95% of buyers search online to find their next home, more and more sellers are using flat fee MLS listing services to market their homes online direct to buyers. This is our guide to the best flat fee MLS listing companies in South Florida, and to the one company where you can list your home on the MLS entirely for FREE instead of using a flat fee mls listing service.
As a “For Sale By Owner,” you want to have an easy and stress-free listing process. You also want to save money so you can invest in what is important, such as making renovations and repairs that will raise the value of your home. Or investing your savings in your next property, a trip of a lifetime, or even a new car.
While the below may be the available best flat fee MLS listing companies in South Florida, going with a company that allows you to list for FREE for up to 12 months without tacking on any cancellation or limiting photo clauses may be the best option for you.
(1) List a home for up to 12 months on the local MLS without having to pick a complicated service package
(2) Post the max photos the MLS allows
(3) Capture home data in minutes using a simple questionnaire – and it’s so easy you can do it from your phone
(4) Make unlimited changes and updates to a listing
AND – All of this is entirely free, with no fees on the frontend or hidden on the backend – RICHR truly is the ‘no brainer’ way of selling your home! You can check out Richr’s 100% 5 STAR RATING on GOOGLE to see how ecstatic Richr’s successful sellers are with Richr’s free MLS listing service.

HomeLister allows you a flat fee MLS listing for your home on the MLS for up to 6 months, then you have to decide whether you want to renew. They also have a range of packages up to their Platinum fee-based package. They say they offer a free service that allows for local MLS listings and listings on common real estate sites such as Zillow and Trulia but you have to pay a flat fee upon closing. To get additional services, such as professional photography, you’ll also have to pay a fee. If you should cancel your listing with the company yet later sell the home within 6 months, you are charged a closing fee. The minimum you would pay to them would be $499, and this can go as high as $2599.
Homekeys is currently only available for sellers in three South Florida counties: Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. They don’t offer package deals with specific services. Instead, they have one flat fee MLS listing for 12 months and charge another fee at the closing. They also charge a fee if you change your listing more than 5 times.
At FlatFee.com, they allow sellers throughout Florida to list their homes with a flat fee MLS listing. You can list on the MLS or on Realtor.com for 6 months at a flat rate. Unlike the other flat fee MLS listing sites that allow for 24 photos to unlimited photos to be included in your listing, FlatFee.com only allows for 6 photos unless you upgrade to a higher listing fee package.
